The RTX 4060 is a rather low-powered card with a 115W TDP making it an odd choice for some AIBs, such as ASUS, to strap a triple fan cooler to it. The card was built to have a tiny little cooler strapped to it making it an ideal choice for a small form factor system which leads us to MSI’s launch of its AERO ITX variant of the card.
MSI’s New RTX 4060 AERO ITX OC & non-OC isn’t too dissimilar to the previous generation RTX 3060 AERO ITX but is a bit smaller due to its 115W TDP. It measures 167mm with a two-slot 43mm thickness. The cooling system makes use of a single custom fan with a unique curve that generates airflow for the full-sized heatsink with 6mm thick copper heat pipes. The GPU even features a backplate for a bit of added premium and support.
Despite its small size, the cooler is more than capable enough of handling the OC variants overclock up to 2490 MHz boost and 2505 MHz Extreme Performance through MSI Center. It uses a single 8-pin connector for power and should fit comfortably in almost any case.
This card will be available from retailers soon, visit MSI.com for more product information.
