MSI RX 6800 XT GAMING X TRIO 16G Graphics Card Review

It’s fair to say that AMD did a killer job with the reference RX 6800 XT and all their current GPU products actually. The out-of-the-box performance was enough to go head to head with the best Nvidia has to offer. Of course, MSI thinks they can do even better and have upgraded the card with an even bigger cooler, higher clock speeds and improved power delivery. It’s not a huge leap over the stock card, but then again, the stock card was already pretty wild.

Of course, there are the aesthetics to consider, and the MSI Tri Frozr 2 cooler, which features their flagship TORX Fan 4.0 fans, Core Pipe design, and Fin+Airflow control. Which is another way of saying they’ve bolted a bloody massive cooler to the card. Of course, like many modern gaming devices, it’s loaded with ARGB tech, so it’s going to look pretty slick in any gaming build. Beyond that, you get more fuses on the PCB, an anti-sag bar, a full backplate design, and much more!
