MSI Starts Europe Only CashBack Program

Anyone who is in the market for a new gaming system take heed because who doesn’t want to save a few bucks? MSI has started a cash back program for those who buy qualifying Intel motherboards along with select Nvidia GeForce GPUs. For customers that qualify between now and September 28th, MSI is offering up to €60/£42, depending on the exact products of course.

While the likes of ASUS, Gigabyte and MSI have done mail in rebates and discounts, requiring the purchase of a bundle is a more infrequent tactic. In this case, the cash back is done after the fact and via a claim form online. In some ways, that resembles a mail-in rebate, just without the mailing part, instead relying on online submissions and still having the cash back being mailed. MSI had done a similar program earlier in the year and has added 4 more countries to the list this time.

As expected, more expensive products have larger rebates, with the lowest possible rebate being £14. In order to qualify for £42, a customer would need to buy at least a GTX 980 and top tier X99/Z170 motherboard. It is interesting to see that the GTX 950 and AMD products do not qualify.
