We’re just days away from the full launch of the Nvidia GTX 900 range of graphics cards and while there are plenty of NDAs in place to stop people talking about the finer details; leaks and teasers are everywhere! The latest teaser comes from MSI, who have just posted a render of their upcoming Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 Gaming graphics card with their brand new TwinFrozr V cooler which was also teased last week.
The new image (see above) is the first time we’ve seen the main design of the card and it looks absolutely gorgeous. It comes in the, now somewhat default black and red styling that seems to be everywhere right now, but that doesn’t make the card any less pretty and with the new Maxwell hardware on the interior, we’re certain that this is going to be a great card.
The cooler features a pair of 100mm fans and a range of copper heatpipes which run into the aluminium fin stack. The card is set to feature a factory-overclock, no doubt possible thanks to that sizeable cooling solution.
The card is based on the new 28nm GM204 silicon, which is said to feature 1664 CUDA cores, 138 TMUs, 32 ROPs, 256-bit wide memory interface and 4GB of memory.
