MSI to Begin Certifying its PSUs with PPLP ATX 3.0 Efficiency Ratings
Peter Donnell / 6 months ago
MSI has just revealed that they’re one of the first power supply manufacturers to feature the new PPLP ATX 3.0 certification, which will be featured on their latest MAG A1000GL PCIE5 and MAG A850GL PCIE5 power supplies.
PPLP, which is short for “PSU Performance Level Plan,” is designed to identify and showcase outstanding, high-performance, and highly reliable power supply units in the market. This gives consumers more metrics to gauge the quality of the product, much like the Cybernetics and 80 Plus standards do, which are also both present on these two new power supplies. The new PPLP rating offers scores from Bronze to Super Ti.
PPLP
With a dedicated team at PPLP boasting over a decade of experience in PC hardware testing, supported by reliable and sophisticated testing equipment, precise measurement is ensured. All performance tests are conducted using comprehensive Chroma instruments. PPLP not only prioritizes power efficiency but also emphasizes power supply performance.
