The GeForce GTX 500 series cards were nothing short of a success at launch and it’s only now that the partners are really starting to come into their element by releasing custom designs of these cards. The GTX 560 is no exception from this rule with the announcement of the N500GTX Twin Frozr II series cards, it was only going to be a matter of time before the 560 got the treatment of MSI’s fancy thermal cooler.
All this said, we have information that the GTX 560 Twin Frozr II card has already been listed in a European retailer for 280,33 but has since been pulled from the site which is no surprise.
Information has scattered the web about this card. So far we know it will use the GF114 GPU, running at 880MHz, opposed to a stock 823MHz and will feature 1GB of GDDR5 memory at a speed of 4200MHz all on a 256-bit memory interface.
Judging by those overclocks at factory, we can tell that this card should give some really good results, and with a custom cooling design, it should tick all of the right boxes. Let’s just hope the price is something to live up to and that we see some results very soon.
