With the release of Intel’s 8th generation Core processor series, MSI is releasing a new flagship mainboard to go with its Z370 chipset. Introducing the MSI Z370 GODLIKE Gaming motherboard; which according to MSI, is “the one to rule them all”. This is the company’s most advanced motherboard yet and it features top of the line components that they had to use an E-ATX form factor.
It features not one, not two, but THREE of Killer’s E2500 Gigabit LAN controller. Plus, it also has a Killer 1535 Wireless LAN and Bluetooth module. This supports Wi-Fi 2×2 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1, 3.0+HS standards. This moduule takes up an M.2 (Key-E) slot in the rear IO and is already installed.
As for wired connectivity, there are also three USB 3.1 Gen 2, four USB 3.0 via ASMedia ASM1074 and 6x USB 3.0 via the Z370 chipset. There is even a Type-C port header available on the rear, as well as via an on-board header.
Three M.2 slots come with M.2 shielding, and all expansion slots and DIMM slots are steel reinforced.
The Z370 GODLIKE Gaming has an 18-phase VRM and uses high-end components through its Military Class-V quality selection. The board also features on-board headers making overclocking a cinch. While it is made to perform well, it is also designed to look good with top-to-bottom RGB LEDs.
For the gaming minded, the Z370 GODLIKE features the most advanced Xtreme Audio DAC onboard solution from MSI yet. It comes with dual front and rear Hi-Fi audio processors, WIMA and Nichicon Fine Gold audio capacitors, as well as studio grade ESS audio DAC with ESS amp. While it comes with standard gold-plated analog and S/PDIF connectors at the rear, a 6.35mm golden headphone out is also available for audiophiles.
