MSI Unlreash a Wave of New Hardware for Remainder of 2018

MSI Computex 2018

We’re all very familiar with MSI, as they’re one of the biggest names in the PC hardware market. They’ve brought along their latest and greatest hardware to Computex 2018, and we can’t wait to get some of this in for review too!

GS65 Stealth Thin

Their new laptop features the latest Intel 8th Gen i7 CPUs, a GTX 1070 GPU, all running through a fantastic 144Hz IPs 15.6 Inch display. Measuring in at just 17.9mm thick, it’s also the worlds first 144 Hz thin bezel gaming laptop!

PS42

This gorgeous system looks set to keep people looking at PC and not mac. With no courage, it has all the ports you could ask for. However, it’s also packing 8th Gen Intel, Nvidia MX150 graphics, and a full HD IPS panel. What’s most impressive is how light it is. At just 1.19 KG this thing could blow away in a light breeze, making it extremely portable.

GT83 Titan

Not on the market for lightweight systems? The huge GT83 Titan is pretty damn heavy, but for good reason. Packing a full mechanical keyboard, it’s the world 1st notebook with Cherry MX Silver switches. It also features a whopping 18.4″ IPS display; this is a monster mobile gaming platform. It features Intel 8th Gen, and a GTX 1080 SLI configuration for extreme performance. The larger size also means it has insane cooling capabilities too.

GT63 Titan

Nowhere near as big, the 63 features a single GTX 1080, but with a 120 Hz 15.6-inch display. They’ll also offer a 60 Hz 4K option too if you desire it.

GT75 Titan

This is the one that caught my eye the most. It doesn’t look too big, but with a 17.3-Inch 120 Hz panel or a 4K 60 Hz panel it’s pretty big. However, it packs the latest Intel Core i9 CPU and a GTX 1080, so it’s pretty damn fast too; dread to think about the price though.

Motherboards

Also on display were their latest range of motherboards. They’ve got their new X399 Gaming Pro Carbon AC, and X399 solutions here. Furthermore, their new X470 motherboards for AMD fans.

Peter Donnell

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
