MSI have just released their latest custom version of Nvidia’s GTX 780 GPU. The MSI Gaming GTX 780 comes with MSI’s new Gaming App tuning utility that allows gamers to switch between OC mode, gaming mode and silent modes. MSI have gone to town with the cooling solution offering a pair of 10cm fans compared to the normal 80mm and these use an MSI patented propeller blade technology and airflow control technology. Apparently under full load this GPU hits only 67 degrees at 25.7 dBA.
All the usual MSI graphics goodness is included such as military class 4 components and the Twin Frozr heatsink design. MSI’s GTX 780 Gaming graphics card comes clocked at 954MHz base clock, 1006MHz boost clock and 6008MHz memory clock. This is up from 863/900MHz on the stock GTX 780 while the memory is the same.
MSI haven’t disclosed pricing or availability yet but expect it to compete with rival solutionson price like the ASUS Direct CU II OC GTX 780 and Gigabyte GTX 780 OC Windforce 3X.
