MSI has just released their new MAG CORELIQUID E Series of all-in-one CPU coolers. Their official blurb reads that they’re “inspired by the passing of time and the shape of the solar eclipse, it is an innovative product that combines advanced cooling technology with a striking visual design.” While I don’t mean to mock them, that seems to boil down to the fact the pump is round and has ARGB lighting on it. It also comes equipped with three high-quality ARGB 120mm fans too, so you’ll get plenty of lighting customisation here. The cooler will launch today with a choice of 240mm and 360mm variants, each available in black or white, giving us a total of four versions to choose from.
MSI continues that “…as computer computational demands continue to surge, the need for superior heat dissipation efficiency and enhanced computer performance has escalated accordingly.” and say that their new MSI CORELIQUID E series has been designed to deal with the increasing demands of modern CPUs, and integrates the MSI CENTER software, allowing you to take control of the pump, fans and ARGB lighting in one central piece of software.
What’s more, I actually have this cooler in the office right now, and I’m very busy testing it. So if you’re eager to see how it performs, check back around lunchtime, as I’ll have a full review, but early indications are that it’s very good! You can read the review here, but keep in mind the link may 404 until I hit the ‘ol publish button later this morning.
This liquid cooler enhances heat dissipation from your CPU by expanding the contact area between the water channel and the copper base of the water block. It achieves this through an enlarged design incorporating an upgraded micro-channel height. This micro-channel configuration contributes to a more efficient water cooling system, further optimizing the cooling process for your CPU.
The pump design has been levelled up by separating the hot and cold coolant to preserve the temperature difference for faster cooling and power by a durable 3-phase motor to enhance the cooling performance. The new structural design improves heat dissipation capability but ensures stable reliability during extended use. The product maintains efficient temperature control even during high-load operations, ultimately extending its lifespan.
Besides performance, the E Series liquid cooler retains the water block cap’s 270-degree rotating function to optimize the assembly experience.
The MSI MAG CORELIQUID E Series 360mm AIO is available today with an MSRP of £109.99, which is right in line with rival offerings for similarly equipped 360mm radiators. However, if this one is a little big for your needs, there’s also a smaller version, the MSI MAG CORELIQUID E Series 240mm, which is now available for just £94.99.
