MSI VR Racing Rig at Computex 2017

MSI VR Racing Rig?

We’ve seen MSI innovate with many products over the years. However, we never expect to rock up to their booth at Computex 2017, and see this! Their latest product is a motion racing rig. It comes in two formats, one for racing cars, the other a roller coaster type rig. Obviously, they’re designed to be used with a VR headset, adding to the overall immersion of your simulation.

Is this the kind of thing you would have in your office? I know I would if I had the space! Although, this one does look more compact that some of the units we’ve seen on the market.

Availability

While it’s not really hitting the consumer market just yet, it’ll most likely start off with the retail market. This kind of installation is a powerful marketing tool for stores and events, but we may see it hit the mainstream market soon enough if it proves a big hit.

Price

No word on prices just yet, but given that it comes with a Fanatec racing wheel and pedals, you can easily guess it’s going to be a few thousand USD, if not more.
