With the release of the new X-series CPUs from Intel, such as the blazing fast (if a little toasty) i9-7900X, and the fantastic i7-7740X, comes a new range of motherboards. One of the latest is the gorgeous new X299 Gaming M7 ACK from MSI, and we’ve got it in the eTeknix office today.

Equipped with support for the latest LGA2066 socket processors, the M7 ACK is packed full of features. Obviously, this board is tailored towards the gaming market, so blazing fast storage and memory performance are on-board. Of course, you’ll also find robust overclocking features, high-end audio and more to suit the needs of the enthusiast gaming market.

With support for upto 4133 and 4500 MHz DDR4 in quad-channel and dual-channel respectively, FROZR heat shields, TURBO SOCKEt, GAME BOOST, DIGITALL POWER, and more, you can expect this board to be pretty fast. Well, at least we hope it’s fast given the specifications. Add to that some fun features like Mystic Light for your RGB thrills, Steel Armor for durability and aesthetics, and you’ve got a complete package.
