CPU & GPU Performance
Cinebench
It’s easy to see that the Ryzen chip is faster in multiple core tests, but on the other hand, it’s also showing that the motherboard isn’t holding it back either, allowing the 1800X to reach its full potential in both stock and overclocked scenarios.
WPrime
The same is true for WPrime, as the AMD CPU didn’t encounter any bottlenecks with the motherboard in WPrime, setting our fastest times yet.
SiSoft Sandra
The X370 chipset showing its worth again with SiSoft, setting very high scores overall in both stock and overclocked tests.
3DMark
We did run into some trouble here, and we’re still unsure why the score is as low as it is. We suspect this could be down to a problem with A-XMP settings, but expect this to improve with a future bios update, we’ll know more once we’ve tested more X370 motherboards very soon.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Another strong result here, showing that the GTX 980 Ti we’re using for testing isn’t hitting any bottlenecks, and setting our best score yet, if only by a tiny margin.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
The motherboard goes head to head with pretty much everything at stock clocks, but while overclocked, it really shows the benefits the 1800X has on the X370 chipset, allowing the graphics card to push even harder and set a new top score, a clear 8 frames ahead of the previous champion.
