Pictures of MSI’s upcoming MSI X79A-GD65 8D motherboard have been leaked to the press well in advance of the launch date. The motherboard uses MSI’s Military Class III components which include super ferrite chokes, hi-c Caps and improved DrMOSII. In addition to this you can see there is support for two sets of quad channel memory resulting in a total of 8 DIMM slots. OC genie one button overclocking is included on this board as well as a motherboard power on button so your board doesn’t need to be connected to a case to be functional. There is a supplementary molex power connector to provide the PCI lanes with more power which it may need as the board has CrossfireX and SLI support for multi GPU configurations.
