MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon AC Motherboard Review

Gaming Performance

Intel’s new Z370 processors are by far the best gaming processors we’ve ever tested. The Pro Carbon AC may not have set the highest scores we’ve ever recorded, but it’s certainly up there with the best. In Deus Ex, it hit a very impressive 132.8 FPS on average, and 197.6 in Rise of the Tomb Raider; both of which are DirectX 12 Benchmarks.

For the extremely demanding Ghost Recon Wildlands, the Pro Carbon AC set one of our highest ever scores at 141.4 FPS, and even more impressively, it set the second highest score in Far Cry primal at 159 FPS, matching the performance of the fastest motherboard; also an MSI board.
