MSI announced their Vortex G25 compact gaming PC last month, but it is finally available for pre-order on Amazon. The impressive beast of a system sports the latest 8th generation Intel i7-8700 processor with 6-cores and 12-threads running at 3.2GHz to 4.3GHz. Users can choose between a GeForce GTX 1070, GTX 1060 6GB and GTX 1060 3GB GPU.
Compact Gaming Size
The MSI Vortex G25 only weighs 2.5 kilograms, measuring 279 x 43 x 331mm and is 2.5 litres. This makes it small enough to fit in the living room and is comparable in size to current gaming consoles. The compact size also makes it very portable and ideal for LAN party gaming. It is even small enough that it mounts behind a monitor using a VESA mount.
To keep the high-end components running cool, MSI implements their Cooler Boost Titan design from their laptops. Dual whirlwind blade fans actively cool 8 heatpipes. Unlike laptops however, the components inside are easily accessible and upgradeable. The covers use pull-ring slotted screws, so installing dual NVMe M.2 SSDs or accessing the dual DIMM slots is easy.

The Vortex G25 with GTX 1070 is available from Amazon.co.uk for £1,999 with free delivery in the UK. The actual availability date is November 10, 2017.
