MSI’s new compact PC, here it is

MSI, a world-renown PC manufacturer, has recently revealed their new product in the Wind Box series: the Wind Box DC100.

Providing excellent energy-saving, MSI have combined three main concepts into the DC100: small, simple and smart. Measuring just 191.8×150.93×34.94mm (WxHxD) and weighing only 830g, the DC100’s white finish allows it to blend into any environment without looking like a “stain”, and MSI’s noise reduction technology allows for standby below a noise level of 22dBA. When in use, the DC100 has also proved to use never more than 40W.

Performance wise, the Wind Box DC100 is equipped with AMD’s latest Brazos platform with built-in AMD Fusion E-450 APU running at 1.65GHz and boasts the Radeon HD6320 discrete class graphics performance; all of this with a total processing energy consumption of 18W. This new compact PC is compatible with both VGA and HDMI, and presents incredible graphic performances with 1080p HD video playback without any trouble and possesses  all of the most recent features (1 billion colours, advanced image error correction, dynamic contrast, colour vibrancy adjustments, noise reduction, edge enhancement, etc.).

As if not enough, MSI has also included two softwares of their own: Smart Media Link and Smart Sync. Both compatible with Windows 7 and Media Player 11 when Windows Media Player’s stream function is turned on. The first one allows you to control the “media traffic” over the network, meaning that you can play the multimedia files you have selected simultaneously on different devices in the same network, ranging from notebook, desktop PC, mobile phone, tablet PC and LED TV (equipped with DLNA). The second allows for, as the title suggest, a synchronization of your files; Outlook contact data, calendar information, photos, music, video, documents ,even website bookmarks, and the list goes on.
