MSI recently released the X99A GODLIKE GAMING CARBON motherboard which sports an astounding specification and unbelievable RGB technology. Unfortunately, this flagship comes at a hefty price and most enthusiasts wouldn’t be prepared to spend so much on a motherboard. Thankfully, MSI has created a more budget-friendly model which still maintains the premium design and incredible stability. The new X99A GAMING PRO CARBON includes the company’s spectacular Mystic Light RGB illumination which can be controlled over WiFi with a smartphone using an extension cable. On another note, the motherboard supports Turbo U.2, DDR4 Boost and steel armor memory to protect the DIMM contacts. This model is the first X99 motherboard from MSI to use the Game Boost overclocking feature which contains 8 presets. The Game Boost is a really useful addition and provides the tools to overclock your CPU in a single click all the way up to 5GHz.
Of course, this latest X99 motherboard natively supports upcoming Broadwell-E processors and we’ll be requesting a review sample very soon.
