The beloved manufacturer Logitech has recently announced a new peripheral, and once again delivers in an innovative way with the Logitech Wireless Touchpad.
The Touchpad is an easy to use peripheral that substitutes your mouse and is made to be used naturally without any complications. Supporting up to four-finger gestures, you scroll and swipe pages, jump tabs, switch applications and then some.
“The Logitech Wireless Touchpad is perfect for people who want to surf the Web in a more fun and natural way,” said Rory Dooley, Logitech’s senior vice president and general manager of the Control Devices business unit. “It lets Web surfers flick through websites and effortlessly scan long pages – making browsing easier than ever.”
Being wireless, you are free of any cable-related problems, the 2.4GHz technology helps in avoiding any delays, dropouts or interferences. The plug-and-forget Logitech Unifying receiver just plugs into the computer, and as the name suggests, you just forget it. For those unfamiliar with it (why would you?) it’s a very small USB receiver that just blends into the computer and avoids being seen or accidentally caught in something, thus avoiding accidents.
The batteries are able to provide up to four months of navigation and the Touchpad also includes two LED lights to tell you when it’s on and when your batteries are low.
Expect the Logitech Wireless Touchpad to be available in the U.S. and Europe this month for a retail price of $49.99, €49.99 and £44.99.
