Starting with the front of the packaging we see that the DS1 comes with some bright yellow and black print which really grabs your attention. Further down from that we have a great product shot DS1, as well as some diagrams to demonstrate the major features of the chassis.
The back of the box has nine demonstration images which show you even more features of the chassis, this is a great idea as at first glance the chassis looks rather featureless, this couldn’t be any further from the truth. We will of course take a look at all these hidden features in a moment.
In the box we get a really rare thing for any product these days, a full colour instruction booklet! this comes with detailed colour photographs that show you the functions of the chassis, component installation and a few quick tips, overall it’s very helpful and is printed in multiple European languages. We also find a small box of components, with all the usual screws and bolts, a 5.25″ adaptor bracket for FDD/Card reader devices and finally rubber plugs for the water cooling holes in the rear of the chassis.
