Hardware brand Nanoxia, best known for their extensive range of “EVO FX” fans, has recently announced it will be venturing into the computer chassis market. It’s newest case the Deep Silence 1 features a rather slick and elegant looking design, very similar to the style of Fractal design in many respects. In terms of fan connectivity the front gets fitted with two Nanoxia EVO FX 120mm fans that are dust filtered and the back also gets a 120mm Nanoxia EVO FX fan pre-fitted as an exhaust. Two top fans are optional (as unfiltered exhaust), one bottom fan (as filtered intake) and one side fan (as unfiltered intake or exhaust), all 120 or 140mm fan options. The power supply fan intake area is also dust filtered. There are three external 5.25″ and one external 3.5″ bays. You can store up to 8 drives, either 3.5″ or 2.5″ including the spacing that also acts as an external 3.5″.
The case is a midtower supporting up to ATX motherboards in size. Nanoxia use steel and plastic materials to construct this case which weighs in at 11.34kg. The maximum length of graphics card that can be installed is 31.5cm (12.4″) with the hard drive cage installed or 44.5cm (17.5″) without the hard drive cage. The back of the case features 8 PCI expansion slots and the entire case features generous cable management routing features. The front panel includes two USB 2.0 and two USB 3.0 ports as well as the standard audio jacks. Nanoxia have not released pricing information just yet.
