Naughty Dog Apologises For Terrible Last of Us Pt 1 PC Launch

Naughty Dog, the Developers behind The Last of Us Part 1, have released an apology for the awful state the game was launched in on PC.
Naughty Dog Apology
The Last of Us Part 1 launched recently and was met with enormous issues from black screens, broken loading screens and a variety of bugs leading to it receiving a mostly negative score on Steam, if you couldn’t tell it was a bad launch. In a Twitter Thread, the company released an apology stating “We know some of you have not experienced the Naughty Dog quality you expected.” They further went on to say that they will be aiming to release a patch on Tuesday (tomorrow) to fix some issues as well as a larger patch later on in the week.
Shoddy Releases
I don’t quite understand why these game developers are getting away with releasing such poor-quality games be it broken or incomplete, especially after delays. The Last of Us Part 1 was delayed on PC, though only by a few weeks from March 3rd to March 28th and once again like CyberPunk 2077, it seems it was a pointless delay. I must stress however that these problems are more often than not the fault of the people at the top and there is nothing to fault the talented developers and artists at the bottom who actually create these games.
