CES 2016: Netatmo, a name that may be familiar to many eTeknix readers, as we reviewed their Welcome Camera some time ago. Their latest camera tech is very similar to the Welcome, even through it doesn’t look it. The welcome was an indoor unit, while this is an outdoor unit, able to track when vehicles approach your property, monitor visitors, record footage for security purposes, it has a built-in light, Infrared and more.
What’s really cool is that the Presence can notify you of certain events on your smartphone, or can be activated and monitored at any time from your smart devices too. If you have other devices like the Welcome, you can pair all of them up to the same app for a more complete security package and peace of mind; a welcome addition for those who want a smart and connected home, and security setup.
