The truth is out there! And now, so are HD copies of the much-loved sci-fi TV series, The X-Files. When it first launch, X-Fires went on to be a TV sensation throughout the 90s and captured the imagination of viewers with its fantastic story lines and endless amounts of sexual tension between Mulder and Scully.
With recent news that the original team will be joining forces once again for a brand new season of this cult classic, it seems the perfect time to re-introduce the world to what made the original show so great. Netflix is already showing the first 13 episodes of the show in glorious HD. To make things even better, the show is now in widescreen as it appears the original broadcast was only cropped to 4:3 because that was the most common broadcast format at the time.
The X-Files is showing its age now, but the HD rebuffing certainly brings it up to date a little, despite the somewhat low-budget production which plagued the original couple of series.
Are you looking forward to the new series of X-Files? It’s due to start filming this summer, so you’ve got plenty of time to catch up on the classic episodes first!
