The WNDAP360 comes in a retail style box and like some other Netgear products that we’ve personally seen in the shops, the front end is kept simple and to the point; showing off an image of the item itself with its model name and number above and below a few key features and highlights.
Turning the box over reveals a whole lot more information, including a more extensive feature list to the left along with an example deployment diagram and to the right a run down of the access points specifications marked against the other models in its class.
Opening the box up and putting the access point aside for the moment, its paperwork as usual with a quick setup guide, instructions for the mounting options and a certificate of conformity. On top of this there is also a resource CD included which contains copies of the installation guide, registration info and support information.
Depending on the installation required, whether it be wall or ceiling mounted or simply sat on top of a unit for example, we find various fixtures and fittings for wall and ceiling mounting along with a set of rubber feet for table top citation.
Last of all, the unit would be useless with out a network cable, although the AC adaptor is in some respects an optional extra due to the PoE capability that we will come on to later on.
