Netgear WN1000RP 2.4GHz WiFi Booster Review

Rather than coming in a typical cardboard box, the WN1000RP is presented in a clear blister pack showing off the repeater through the front. Netgear have particularly aimed this device at mobile users to save them from having to use their mobile data services over a local WiFi connection that is just out of range, however this will also work with any 2.4GHz WiFi device that can connect to it.
On the rear of the packaging, we find an example of how the repeater would be installed in a typical home location. There is also a bit more information about how this repeater is targeted towards the mobile markets to reduce the usage of 3G and 4G data by increasing WiFi coverage.
Along with the repeater in the box (which I will add was a little harder to open that expected, considering its effectively a blister pack and did result in getting awarded as another pack to draw blood from one of us!) we have a few bits of paperwork, including an installation guide which takes you though the very simple setup process.
