Maybe it’s because I’m a big DC fan, but I definitely enjoyed playing Injustice: Gods Among Us, and while NetherRealm Studios’ Mortal Kombat X was quite engaging as well, I’m definitely looking forward to the next Injustice installment. Fortunately, it looks like NetherRealm Studios is actually working on Injustice 2, at least according to a French website named GameBlog. Rumor has it that Injustice 2 will be released in March 2017 for PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles, and the great news is that we might be able to test the accuracy of this information even before E3 2016.
At the time of writing, there is not a lot of information available regarding this new game, but the same sources suggest that it will use the same engine as Mortal Kombat X. This means that it will have some impressive graphics, but I’m just hoping that it will receive proper support on the PC, as Mortal Kombat X was one of the most controversial PC releases of 2015. Moreover, developing a new game while still not releasing a Mortal Kombat XL version for the PC might be considered a cheap move by some gamers, but at least Injustice: Gods Among Us would finally receive a well-deserved sequel. We’ll definitely keep you posted as we find out more.
