Overview
Netis created a small and compact wireless adapter with their WF2150 N600 Wireless Dual Band USB adapter and it is just as easy to setup and use as it is small. A few clicks and the software is installed, a few more and you’re connected to your network and ready to transfer your data.
The WPS button makes everything even easier as you don’t have to remember any passwords. Just hit the button on both the adapter and your router and the two will pair with each other and establish a secure and encrypted connection. WEP, WPA, and WPA2 are all supported.
The N600 dual band router uses both bands, the legacy 2.4GHz band as well as the newer and less crowded 5GHz band, each with 300 Mbps. Compatibility isn’t an issue either as it is supported by Windows, Mac OS, and Linux.
Pros:
- Dual Band
- Compact
- Easy setup and use
- Cheap
Cons:
- N-speed might be too slow for some
“Netis WF2150 would be a great WiFi adapter for systems that don’t need the fastest connection. Instead, you get a compact, easy to use, compatible, and cheap dual band wireless USB adapter.”
