At the time of writing, the Netis WF2375 AC600 Wireless Dual Band High Power Outdoor AP Router can be yours for $82.99 at Amazon US and £75.72 at Amazon UK.
Conclusion
The Netis WF2375 could be a perfect wireless device for you if you want to connect several buildings to the same local network. The installation isn’t as straight forward as it could be, but it is still an easy task that’s quickly accomplished. That is the software part, the physical mounting can be more demanding if you want to put it up on your roof or a large pole.
The configuration interface is built simple and with the limited settings needed, the WF2375 is quickly configured. We have independent settings for both the WiFi bands and it can work in 3 different modes depending on your setup.
We didn’t see any 10 KM coverage as mentioned in the product description, but that was a given right from the start. We only have a WF2375 at one end and it was placed at the ground level in my tests. Still, we saw a coverage that goes beyond normal routers and I have no doubt that it will work at long distances if set up properly.
Pros
- Long distance connection
- Dual-band
- AP, APR, and WISP modes
Cons
- 100Mbit LAN connectors
- Mounted with plastic cable strips
“The WF2375 is an easy way to connect several buildings into the same local area network, among other things.”
