New Alien: Isolation DLC Out Today, Welcome to “Trauma”

Alien: Isolation is ready to bring up the scares once again, with its second DLC pack launching today for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. Trauma, the new DLC, launches for the PlayStation 3 and 4 tomorrow.

Trauma introduces a new playable character, which can be used in three new Survivor Mode maps: Reoperation, Crawl Space and Overrun. The character is Dr. Lingard, a Chief Medical Officer, with the maps themselves set before the main events in Alien: Isolation. The official description teases “Racked with guilt and feeling responsible for bringing the creature on board, she holds herself liable for the death and destruction that ravages the station as the Alien is unleashed.”

Dr. Lingard wants to see her research on the Xenomorph to not fall into the wrong hands, so she goes on a mission to destroy all of the data, as well as trying to help out the survivors as much as she can.
