CES 2016: Phanteks are one of my all time favourite chassis manufacturers, and after visiting their suite in Las Vegas, it’s easy to remember why. Their Evolv ATX and Pro M chassis are already impressive in terms of design, but their new models now come with a tempered glass side panel. While the chassis remains unchanged, this new model gives you a great way to show off your hardware and gives them an even more premium visual appreance.
Phanteks are known to be a premium brand, which means premium prices. However, their new Eclipse looks to take many of their high-end features down to a more affordable price point. Equipped with room for cooling, featuring a built-in lighting kit and a fan controller, the P400a is the best of the bunch. It comes with a side panel windows, PSU shroud, cable routing and more, so you can expect you system build to look fantastic, but there will also b ea more enclosed silent version as well as a more affordable model without the lighting or fan controller, giving you lots of options to choose from.
Expect these to be at retailers very soon and a full review from us as soon as they’re available, but either way, it’s nice to see them taking a shot at a slightly more consumer (and wallet) friendly part of the market.
