It’s been sometime since Google released it’s planet shaped Google TV into the wild back in 2012. Despite not lasting long in the market mainly due to pricing, that hasn’t stopped Google from working hard at something that will take over your living rooms.
The Verge released an exclusive look at the new interface and it’s looking sweet. There is a definite flavor from XBMC’s receipe book but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
The biggest change in Google’s approach this time is that instead of trying to make it less computer platform and more entertainment interface. With Google’s strong offerings in voice and notifications baked into the platform behind the scenes. This time around should be huge game changer in the battle for your living rooms.
