While I guess it would be obvious to say that a hardware manufacturer will be eventually releasing some new hardware, I must admit that I am quite excited about this one. Asus are one of the biggest in the business and they’ve already got many flagship devices under their belt that have won countless praise from the tech community.
As we approach 2014 and more importantly CES 2014 in January we are starting to hear more about what products will be launching in the new year. Asus are going all out and launching a complete range of Chromebooks and a few new smartphones early in the year, including (hopefully) the new 5″ MeMoFone.
Chrome books may not be as popular as Google would like just yet, but they are gaining traction and with Asus preparing an 11.6″ and 13.3″ edition for between $200 – 250 we can only expect they’ll be even more popular.
2014 should be off to a great start for Asus, with new Chromebooks, new smartphones, their sleek Chromebox PC, not to mention playing their hand to the current wearable tech trend.
