The Super Smash Bros series is a fighting game made by Nintendo with a mix of their own characters and since the Wii version, characters from other game series. It would seem that Nintendo are keen to keep the sales going, and at Nintendo Direct, their own press event, they were keen to reveal the newest roster of characters for their game.
The initial roster was boosted by the likes of Roy, a character who has previously appeared within the series, Mewtwo and even Ryu from the street fighter series. The latest characters to be introduced to the series include Cloud Strife, the protagonist from the Final Fantasy series. Famous for his giant broad sword and lion emblem, Cloud won’t be joining the series alone.
Cloud will be joined by both Corrin, an armour clad warrior with a flaming serrated blade and a selection of dragon inspired moves and powers. Check out the video below if you want to see Corrin take on the “champions of smash”.
As if this wasn’t enough, Bayonetta is also joining the fight. With pistols strapped to her legs and the ability to summon demon’s limbs to smash her opponents off the screen, check out the video below to see just why you should avoid her in a fight.
