Marvel‘s Merc with the mouth will be back in theaters soon in Deadpool Part 2. For now, the producers of the film are teasing fans with one more trailer introducing the character of Cable. In usual Deadpool fashion however, it is not just a straightforward trailer with explosions. After all, the last trailer was an odd homage to Bob Ross. This time, Deadpool is taking shots at DC’s blunder with Justice League.
Henry Cavill who plays Superman shot Justice League with a mustache. Obviously, this had to be digitally removed in post-production. He was sporting the facial hair for his character in Mission Impossible Fallout (due out in July 2018), which was shot around the same time as Justice League.
In the latest Deadpool trailer, Deadpool points out the shoddy VFX work on Cable’s cybernetic arm. “What in the actual ass?! Dale! Why are the visual effects not done?” Deadpool asks. “It’s a metal arm! It’s not like we’re trying to remove a mustache!” Watch the latest trailer for yourself down below.
Cable is played by Josh Brolin, who just happens to also be Thanos in Marvel’s Upcoming Avengers Infinity War saga. In the comic books, Cable is a time traveler from a dystopian future and could possibly be important in rebooting the X-men franchise for 20th Century Fox.
Other than Josh Brolin, Zazzie Beats is also joining the cast as Cable’s partner Domino. As we saw in the previous trailer, Negasonic Teenage Warhead is also back, as well as Colossus representing the X-men.
Deadpool 2 is coming out in Theaters on May 18, 2018. Just like the first one, it is going to retain its MPAA Rated R rating for strong violence, language and sexual content.
