EVGA had their latest M-ITX motherboard on show last week at Gamescom, bringing with it support for two DDR3 slows, x16 PCI-E slot, 2 x SATA 3GB/s, 2x SATA 6GB/s, two fan connections, 8pin PSU port for the CPU, native USB 3.0 support, 7.1 Audio, Display Port, as well as many of the style features and high build quality we’ve come to know and love about EVGA products, so a pretty comprehensive board for the M-ITX catagory, but it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against boards link the P8Z77-I Deluxe Z77 board from Asus.
The board is compatible with Intels Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge LGA 1155 sockets processors, and while the board is due to launch soon, no date or price information was released.
The M-ITX category is undergoing some what of a shake up recently, with the M-ITX form factor chassis seeing a raise in popularity, so I would expect to see a few great M-ITX motherboards following suit to fill the needs of the modern gamer and no doubt cater to the large following for cases like the BitFenix Prodigy over the coming months.
