New Intel CPU Roadmap for Q1 2013 revealed

Intel will be releasing some of the newer CPU processor during the first quarter of 2013 under Pentium and Celeron lineups.

Most of the 32nm Sandybridge processors will be the one that will be phased out to make way for the 22nm Ivy-Bridge. The existing Sandybridge based 32nm Pentium G870, G645 and G45T & Celeron G555, G550 and G550T will be phased out by the end of this day- which will be replaced by 22nm Pentium G2130, G2020 AND G2020T & Celeron G1620, G1610 and G1610T processors.

As of now, 32nm Sandybridge processors accounts for 60% of shipments, 34% for Ivy-bridge, 4% for Atom and 2% for Sandy Bridge- E. With these changes planned for 2013, Ivy-Bridge is predicted to rise upto 75-78% increase in shipment.

Also, Intel plans to release 20nm 530 series MLC SSD during Q1 2013
