BioWare’s Creative Director Mac Walters has confirmed that the next Mass Effect game is set for PC release, and that it is “Looking great!”. Walters, who was lead writer on both Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3, responded to a Twitter user asking him to dispel rumours that the new Mass Effect game would not be on PC, which he did:
BioWare has been at great pains to stress that the latest entry in the Mass Effect franchise should not be referred to as “Mass Effect 4”, since the game does not continue the story of Commander Shepard. The developer has also confirmed that, although it will run on the Frostbite engine, the game will not use the same ‘template’ as its fantasy RPG, Dragon Age: Inquisition.
