It appears that MSI‘s Armor line of video cards is getting a quick redesign. VideoCardz.com has spotted photos of a new MSI Armor MK2 version using a Radeon RX 570 GPU. The typical MSI Armor video cards use a black and white color scheme, like their Krait series motherboards. This one however has a red and black color scheme similar to their gaming series. However, the gaming series has had the same shroud design across their entire line, differing only in heatsink sizes.
The MSI Armor MK2 uses the ARMOR 2X thermal design. It has two of the award winning MSI TORX fans with a patented blade design. MSI TORX fans provide strong cooling performance while remaining incredibly silent and are also used on their Gaming series.
On the Radeon RX 570 Armor MK2, two 8mm copper heatpipes are on the heatsink. These are fully nickel plated for a uniform look. There is also a full coverage backplate with a frame strengthening brace for the PCB. This prevents bending and sagging over time.
Actual specifications are not available yet, but it appears to have one DVI-D, two HDMI and two DisplayPort outputs. According to VideoCardz.com, there will be OC and non-OC variants out as well as an RX 580 version coming.
