Activision has released a new trailer for the upcoming new zombie map for Call of Duty: WWII. Titled ‘The Darkest Shore’, the new trailer will not fail to creep fans out. The new map is part of the upcoming The Resistance DLC, which is set to go live on January 30.
Doctor Straub is at it again, now in a secluded island north of Germany with his Nazi zombie army. The game’s publisher Activision promises that these Nazi zombies are “more cunning, quick, and even more bloodthirsty than before.” There is also an added layer of suspense with the thick fog blanketing the island.

The Resistance DLC
Aside from a new zombie map, The Resistance DLC brings in three new maps to play in: Valkyrie, Anthropoid, and Occupation. That last is going to be familiar to Call of Duty fans since it is a remake of the Modern Warfare 3 map ‘Resistance’. Despite the re-use it fits the rest of the theme. The DLC also introduces the Operation Intercept War Mode update. It revolves around the rescue of French resistance fighters and then fighting to escape.
Sony PlayStation 4 users will get the update first on January 30. However, PC and Xbox users would have to wait a few more days after that in February 2018 go be able to play the new content. Season pass holders will get the content for free, including the new Nazi zombies map.
