New Screenshots Have Emerged for Tony Hawk’s pro Skater 5

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater is one of the most popular extreme sports games, and it was originally developed by Neversoft for the PS1. Published by Activision, the game enjoyed great success during the 90s, but its popularity gradually faded with subsequent releases. Now, in an attempt to breathe some life into the franchise once again, Activision and Robomodo are going back to the basics with its newest Tony Hawk game, namely Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5. Even though it is expected to be released just a few months from now, we don’t really know much about this game so far, mainly because its creators have been so deliberately secretive about it.

We are probably going to see it in action at this year’s E3 event even though Call of Duty will most likely take the center stage during Activision’s segment. Until then, we can catch a few glimpses of the latest Tony Hawk’s courtesy of some newly released screenshots. My first impression was that they look just a bit outdated for a modern game, but I can’t possibly form a correct opinion until I see some actual gameplay footage.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 will be launched this year for PS3, Xbox 360, PS4 and Xbox One. You can have a look at the new screenshots below.
