BulletStorm: Full Clip Edition Remaster Release Date Announced
Ron Perillo / 8 years ago
It has been six years since the original BulletStorm was released and in video game years, that is practically a lifetime. Graphics quality increase quite a big not just in terms of new technologies implemented but in terms of polygon count and texture resolution as well so a remaster for one of the most fun GearBox titles for the PC could be just what the doctor ordered. In a newly released story trailer, GearBox is reminding everyone that the fun, arcade-style shooter is not just all guts and guns, but has some heart as well:
The original game by famed game designer Cliff Bleszinski let gamers shoot their way though a multitude of planets, animals, humans and even giant creatures in order to clear their name after being framed for the death of a civilian reporter. The game was a fun first-person shooter adventure that had some room to be creative with its various weapons similar to the latest version of Doom.
While not a sequel, the new BulletStorm: Full Clip Edition brings the 2011 title to 2017 with updated 4K compatible resolution for both Windows and PlayStation as well as a new Overkill Campaign mode, giving players unfettered access to all the weapons from the start.
BulletStorm: Full Clip Edition will be available on April 7 and pre-orders via Steam currently offer 15% off the $54.99 price tag. Those who pre-order the game will have free access to the Duke Nukem’s Bulletstorm Tour DLC which will enable users to play as Duke Nukem complete with Duke Nukem voice-over from original voice actor Jon St. John.
