New trailer for Dead Island “Ryder White” DLC

Deep Silver today released a trailer showing the new story behind the upcoming “Ryder White” DLC content for Dead Island.

Set to become available next week, this new DLC brings a new perspective on the incidents in the main story of Dead Island. This time around the player will be able to play as Ryder White, the antagonist of the main game.

This DLC will tell the story through the eyes of the antagonist, showing the player his motivations and why he did what he had to do. This new take will also show Ryder White as a military man, as well as a loving husband.

The DLC will therefore bring Ryder White as a new playable character as well as introduce a single campaign with several hours of story content with twists and turns that will shed new light on the game’s happenings.

Additionally two blueprints and weapons will further expand the already impressive arsenal of Dead Island.

Players will be able to have access to this new content on February 1, 2012 on major gaming platforms for the price of 800 Microsoft points on Xbox LIVE Marketplace or for £7.99 on PSN and Steam.
