I played The Witcher 2 for the first time about three years after it launched officially, and even though it brought my graphics card to its knees, I have to admit that I enjoyed its somewhat challenging fights and incredible storyline. Now, with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the verge of availability, everyone’s talking about the game’s incredible graphics and unique features, especially as far as the PC version is concerned.
Modern AAA games are very complex, and the Witcher 3 is definitely no exception. Nvidia and CD Projekt RED recently released a video that highlights the game’s outstanding PC graphical features, including the awesome lighting, the physics, Gerald’s hair and many more. CD Projekt RED worked closely with Nvidia for this particular title, which is why the game will support NVIDIA GameWorks, HairWorks, PhysX Clothing and HBAO+.
When it came out, the Witcher 2 was ahead of its time graphically and looked amazing even though it was based on DirectX 9. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt looks like it has everything it takes to become a true classic, which is why it will probably surpass its predecessor’s popularity.
