New Xbox 360 Design Revealed, Available At Retailer Immediately

New-Xbox-360

I would like to thank Microsoft for giving us an awesome press release this morning, for E3. With the new Xbox One being released to the public in November with a price tag of $499.99 , it seems like Microsoft is trying to get some last minute sales on their previous generation of Xbox the 360. With an all new modernized design, and look based on the Xbox One. This newly designed Xbox 360 is smaller, sleeker and quieter than even the 360 slim model. Available for purchase today, with three models to choose from.

  • The first model will only contain the Xbox 360 4GB Console, retailing for $199.99
  • The second model will contain the Xbox 360 4GB Console With Kinect for $299.99
  • The third model will contain the Xbox 360 250GB Console for $299.99

All three models will have built-in Wi-Fi, a black wireless controller, and standard definition composite A/V/ cable.

Beginning July 1st, Xbox Live Gold members will receive 2 new games each month free of charge. Users can pick up a 12-Month Gold Membership Card for $59.99 or get the membership for a discounted rate of $44.99 when you bundle with your new console.

The first two games will be Assassin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3. Microsoft has also stated that there are still “Hundreds” of games still on the way for the Xbox 360.

Xbox 360 is nearly an 8 year old console, it seems as if Microsoft is not ready to let it die and let it successor take its place, bringing a new life to the Xbox 360, or just trying to get a few extra bucks out of customers before the Xbox One is released.

There are still some pluses to having an Xbox 360 as we still have 5 months before Xbox One is available to the public. Xbox 360 has several games that are still going to be coming out on the 360 model, such as World of Tanks, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, Dark Souls II, Final Fantasy 13, Arkham Origins, Splinter Cell Blacklist and Grand Theft Auto V, just to mention a few.
