YAAO 6000 Smartphone

A new smartphone called the YAAO 6000 is looking to be the answer for many smartphone users who prefer to use their mobile devices for extended periods. Smartphones are ubiquitous to daily life, so much so that the frustrations of limited battery capacity is a common aggravating routine for many; carrying charging cables and racing to find an open port or wall socket to plug into. The YAAO 6000’s 10,800 mAH capacity itself is equal to that of a large power bank and dwarfs many current offerings. In comparison, a Galaxy S7 is equipped with a 3,000mAH battery while the iPhone 7 has a paltry 1,960mAH cell. The battery is apparently removable, so users can swap out a spare.

Internally, the YAAO 6000 itself is not particularly top-of-the-class spec-wise however, having a MediaTek MT6735 quad-core SoC running at 1.5GHz, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable memory and a 720p 5.5 inch display screen. It also has a 13-megapixel rear with a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It measures 147.9mm tall and is only 18.1mm thick while being 78.1mm wide. It is running YunOS (雲OS), which is currently expected to become the second biggest mobile operating system in China by the end of 2016 having 14% of the market there.

The unfortunate news for most people is that the YAAO 6000 is scheduled to be released in China only, although its success will most likely and hopefully show other manufacturers that there is demand and room in the market for such a product. It is currently available on Jingdong for ¥1499.00 or £172 GBP/$218 USD.
