GIGABYTE has a new blower-style graphics card in the market called the GTX 1080 Ti Turbo 11G. As you might have gathered from the name, it comes with a factory overclock out of the box. This video card is under the default GIGABYTE banner and not through their AORUS brand.
Turbo Fan Cooling System
The GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Turbo 11G uses a single 50mm blower style fan although the shroud is custom. It looks quite unique with a white and orange accented design. This blower style fan pulls in air from the top (or bottom when installed), and exhausts all of the heat through the rear. The GPU and critical components itself has a vapor chamber heatsink on top. This heatsink also has a composite heat-pipe design for better thermal conductivity, transferring heat from the core to the aluminum fins.
Specifications and Features
The GV-N108TTURBO-11GD comes with two base/boost clock presets: Gaming and OC mode. In Gaming mode, the base starts at 1480MHz and boosts up to 1582MHz. With the OC mode enabled, the base clock starts at 1506MHz and boosts up to 1620MHz. The 11GB GDDR5 memory runs at 11010MHz on a 352-bit memory bus. The card itself physically measures 270 x 116.6 x 36.6mm.
In terms of power requirement, a 600W power supply is recommended. An 8-pin plus a 6-pin power connector is necessary to run this card other than the PCIe bus power. For display output, there are three DP 1.4 and one HDMI 2.0b port in the rear IO. Users can expect a max resolution of 4096×2160 @ 60Hz on the HDMI port, while the DisplayPorts are capable of up to 7680×4320 @ 60Hz.
