The Nexus 5 is unlikely to be coming to market anytime soon and if you missed our article on the rumoured Nexus 5 specifications then be sure to check that here. However, the fact we don’t even know if this smartphone is coming or not hasn’t deterred excited Nexus 5 fans from designing their own concept art about the Nexus 5.
The Nexus 5’s latest rumored specifications suggest a 5 inch 1080p SLCD3 screen which is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor and 2GB of RAM. The camera is said to be 13.1 MP and the 3100mAh battery provides the juice for everything. Apparently a solar battery will be optional and the OS will be Android 5.0.
While the Nexus 5 concept art shows a home button at the bottom of the phone with a breathing LED light. The construction materials are said to be poly-carbonate and anodized aluminium. The specifications of the concept art Nexus 5, designed by fans, are a 6 inch 4K resolution screen (fat chance!), a 16MP camera, a 5000mAh battery, the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 and 4GB of RAM. The storage options wanted by fans are 64, 128 or 256GB. They also believe that Android 5.0 will be the OS of choice.
What are your thoughts on the concept design? Are the rumoured specifications of the (real) Nexus 5 realistic? Would you like to see the concept phone materialise? Let us know your thoughts.
