What we know so far of the next-generation Nexus device from LG is that it includes a 4.95-inch display, a 2.3 GHz Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, inductive charging and NFC. This particular model’s LTE bands (1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 20) are optimized for Asia and Europe.

Now for the new information leaked. There’s an eight-megapixel camera with OIS on back and a 1.3-megapixel shooter on the front. Storage is capped at 32GB and the battery tops out at 2300 mAh. The IPS display has a 1080p resolution and screen tethering is supported via Slimport (just like the Nexus 4). While it’s packing the an array of sensors for a phone, gyroscope accelerometer, compass, proximity and light, there’s also one that detects pressure.

  1. Why do people never find out what the specs of the GPU are? like the name and the clock speed and anything else worth mentioning.

    1. Because Snapdragon 800 is the name of the whole chipset, it covers both CPU and GPU. Snapdragon 800 has an Adreno 330 GPU, clocked at 450 mhz I believe.

      1. Ah, sweet. I didn’t know that XD but now I know roughly what the clock speed is, which is what I was mainly interested in.

  2. mmm unless they have managed to do so with software the battery life isn’t going to be to great with only a 2300mAh battery
