The results have been split into four different sections, the first two show the idle and load temperatures when the Phenom II X2 560 CPU was running at its stock speed of 3.3GHz. The second two graphs show the result when the CPU was running at the overclocked speed of 4GHz.
The first graph below shows the idle temperatures with the Phenom II X2 560 running at the stock speed of 3.3GHz. The Nexus XiR-2300 had the highest idle temperate of 29 degrees although was equal with the Zalman CNPS 9500 AM2 cooler. In both cases the Nexus XiR-2300 and the Zalman CNPS 9500 AM2 coolers were out preformed even by the stock cooler.
The second graph below shows the load temperatures with the Phenom II X2 560 running at the stock speed of 3.3GHz. The Nexus XiR-2300 had the highest load temperature of 38 degrees.
The third graph below shows the idle temperatures with the Phenom II X2 560 overclocked to 4GHz. Once again the Nexus XiR-2300 was left behind the competition with even the Zalman CNPS 9500 outperforming it this time. The Nexus XiR-2300 had the highest overclocked idle temperature of 31 degrees.
The fourth and final graph below shows the load temperatures with the Phenom II X2 560 overclocked to 4GHz. Once again the Nexus XiR-2300 was left behind the competition including the AMD Stock cooler. The Nexus XiR-2300 had the highest overclocked idle temperature of 43 degrees which is two degrees higher than the stock cooler.
So overall the cooling performance of the Nexus XiR-2300 was disappointing as its failed to beat any of the coolers in any of the test.
